Dear Parishioners and Friends,
I am delighted to announce a parish pilgrimage to Italy during the Year of Faith! In response to the Holy Father’s call to consider a pilgrimage to the See of Peter, our parish family will set out to renew, deepen, and share our faith. I hope you will consider joining us, November 17 – 26, 2013.
While in Rome, our pilgrimage will take us to the sacred sites of our Catholic faith, including the Sistine Chapel, and the Basilicas of Christian Rome. We will also take in the historic venues of ancient Rome, including the Roman Forum. We will celebrate Liturgies and have the opportunity to attend the general audience of our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI.
Please join us as we retrace the steps in the lives of St. Peter, St. Paul, St. Francis, St. Clare, St. Mark, St. Anthony, the ancient Romans, the popes throughout history, and the multitude of others who have come to see and pray in the Eternal City. I hope you will consider this most special gift to yourself and join us as we walk in the footsteps of those to whom we now pray.
You will journey to and pray at the same locations where St. Anthony, St. Francis, St. Clare, and many others before us came closer to God. Visiting Assisi and Orvieto will round out what promises to be an enriching and unfor- gettable experience.
