This week, His Holiness, Pope Francis is making a historic visit to the United States, culminating with the World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia, PA. The Holy Father’s itinerary leading up to the World Meeting of Families includes meetings with President Obama and an address to the Joint Meeting of Congress, a Mass of Canonization of Junipero Serra at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, a visit to Catholic Charities, and other events.
