In response to several requests over the past few years to address the aging statue of Saint Therese at the front of the church, we have been working with various artists and landscape architects to design something beautiful for so worthy a patroness. We are excited to have now arrived at the final stages of this project.
The new statue is of lasting material and artistic merit. It has been placed in a new plaza which highlights it as a prominent reminder of our patroness and a physical aid to prayer. We have dedicated the statue to our friend of many years, the late Dcn. Frank Cromer. The current statue will be carefully refurbished and placed in another [indoor] location on the campus.
