An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until August 2, 2019
Learn to paint/write your very own icon in byzantine style with the Very Reverend Fr. Elias RafajCost : $175 per person – to be paid at the beginning of the workshop
Fr. Elias offers a discounted fee $80 for students 14-18 years
The cost covers all materials, supplies and instruction.
Lunches will available for additional fee and can be purchased at the time of the workshop.
When: Monday July 29th – Friday August 2nd, 2019
Where: daily 10 am – 5 pm in the Family Life Center at St. Theresa , Room A
Farther Elias Rafaj, pastor of St. John Chrysostom Byzantine Catholic Church, has been teaching and writing icons for over twenty years.
No experience necessary, as Fr. Elias will guide you through the process from start to finish. Prayer and the theology of icons will be interwoven throughout the workshop.
Class is limited to 30 students only – please register as soon as you can.
