Dcn. Don Anthony Senger, age 71, passed away September 26, 2016. Don was born in Racine, WI on January 12, 1945. His hobbies included playing the guitar, spending time with family, hunting, fishing, and serving the church.
Don Senger is survived by his beloved wife, Diane Senger, his son Tony and wife Angelyn, grandchildren Anthony and Amy; daughter Lisa and grandchildren AJ and Emma; daughter Vanessa and son James. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Rose, and sister Rosemary. He was beloved by his family and friends and will be missed greatly.
The Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, with Fr, Stephen B. Reynolds presiding. His place of rest is the Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the parish in his memory.
St. Theresa’s has lost a kind and dedicated servant whose wisdom, experience and love for our Lord and his Church has been a profound blessing. May we comfort one another with assurances of faith as we grieve the death of our brother, Deacon Don.
