Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it.” (Mt 19:15)
Whether you are transferring from another parish or returning to the Catholic Church from being away for a while, we are glad that you are here! We invite you to come to our office and speak with our staff during the week, or you can make an appointment for a time convenient for you. In the meantime, the following may help assist you in determining what ministries to register your child.
Children who have been baptized in the Roman Catholic Church should register for CCE at any age (5 or older), even if they are not in the process of preparing to receive a sacrament the coming school year. CCE is intended to be an ongoing process of catechesis (learning church doctrine and tradition) year after year.
Children who have turned seven years of age prior to the start of the school year (second grade) should be registered for Sacrament Sunday classes in addition to CCE. Sacrament Sunday classes are specific to the formation of children receiving the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist for the first time.
Parents of children who are in their first year of CCE (third grade or older) must also register for Catholic 101.
Children who are not baptized, or baptized outside of the Catholic Church need to register for RCIA. For more information on RCIA, please click here.
